How to reach Santa Lucia di Piave

If, when setting Santa Lucia in your GPS, you find yourself being directed to the paradisiacal volcanic island of Saint Lucia, take note: there’s no need for a passport, swimsuit, or sunscreen. We’re sure you’ll still prefer the charming Santa Lucia di Piave, at the foot of the Prosecco hills.

However, by following our directions, we’re almost certain we’ll see you arrive

(but we won’t bet our lives on it).

BY CAR
If you like driving, here are the simplest options:
A27 Highway
Exit “Conegliano.” Ideal for those coming from Venice, Bologna, Padua, or Milan. Just follow the road, ignore the signs that lead you to Prosecco, and continue straight to Santa Lucia.
A28 Highway
Exit “Conegliano.” Perfect for those coming from Austria, Slovenia, or more precisely from Trieste, Udine, Portogruaro, and Pordenone. In short, if you’ve traveled halfway across Europe to get here, this is the road for you.

BY TRAIN
For train enthusiasts, the route includes a technical stop:
FFSS Conegliano station (6 km from the destination)
Susegana station (stop at Ponte della Priula, 5 km from the destination)
From there, the recommended mode of transport is… the bike! After all, you’re gravel riders, right? If you’re already tired just thinking about cycling 5-6 km, don’t worry: taxis still exist (we won’t judge, maybe).

BY PLANE
Yes, we’ve thought of cyclists from the Marshall Islands, Patagonia, and the Namibian desert too. You could arrive flying as global cyclists, and here are your stops:
Marco Polo Airport in Venice – 50 km to the north
San Giuseppe Airport in Treviso – 30 km to the north
From there, rent a car, assemble your bikes, or call a private helicopter. Santa Lucia awaits you with open arms and white roads ready!

So, wherever you are and whatever means of transportation you choose, there’s just one thing you need to do: get here! We’ll be there, ready to welcome you with checkpoints, beer, and plenty of music. 🚴‍♂️🍺🎶
